U13’s A team Win 12 – 7 V Gonzaga After a tentative start with Gerard’s making the most of the play, on 20 Min the ball was spun out wide and Matthew Dalton(son of Cliona Willis) was set free at the 22 to fly down the touch line for our 1st try and 5 Points. U13 Girls beat Rathdown 1-0 in an exciting final U13 Girls beat Rathdown 1-0 in an exciting final on Thursday at Three Rock Rovers. Fantastically and fanatically supported by most of the Senior School girls. Led by Judy Fitzpatrick St Gerard’s finally broke the deadlock early in the second half with a well executed goal Scored by Jennifer Courtney assisted by Elena Tice ( daughter of past pupil Scarlet Philips!). SCT- St Gerards were beaten by Roscrea 18-14 in close encounter at Donnybrook yesterday afternoon. It was really a game of two halves, with St Gerards dominating the second half but failing to turn that domination into points. Roscrea got off to a flier, scoring twice in the right hand corner in the opening fifteen minutes to lead 13-0. St Gerards only then started to settle and get into the game proper.
