St Gerard’s School has been shortlisted for “Hockey School of the Year 2011-2012” by the Irish Hockey Association.

Great news. St Gerard’s School has been shortlisted for “Hockey School of the Year 2011-2012” by the Irish Hockey Association. Being nominated is a huge honour for the school and we would obviously love to win this award. To help us win, we need all parents and friends to vote for us!! It’s really easy to do and will only take two minutes of your time.

Ms Sarah Scott, our Head of Girls’ Games, has also been nominated for an award in the “U18 Coach of the Year” category. We would hope that you will also vote for her at the same time!!

• Enter your name and where you are from.
• Scroll down the page until you reach “U18 Coach of the Year” and put number 1 in the box for Ms Sarah Scott
• Then proceed to “Hockey School of the Year” and put No. 1 beside St Gerard’s School, Bray.

• Scroll down to the end of the page and click on “Continue” and your vote is registered!

All votes must be in by Thursday the 13th of September so we would appreciate if you could ensure to vote for our School and Ms Scott by then as voting is like the X-Factor format!

    Passing of Jim McNally (Class of 1977)

    The PPU would like to extend their condolences to the McNally family on the passing of Jim McNally, Class of 1977 McNally – Jim (Donnybrook, Dublin) (suddenly). Very deeply regretted by his sister Shevaun, brother Diarmad, sister-in-law Jen, nieces and nephews Lucia, Lloyd & Lyra, his extended family, neighbours and very good friends. Funeral Service at 2.30pm on Friday, 16th August, in Mount Jerome Crematorium. No flowers please but donations if desired to SIMON.
